Extra Ball

I have found 2 ways to get an Extra ball, both of which are similar. First way is to hit the Translating Glyphs orbit 8 times in a row without hitting the spinner ramp. A red arrow will appear on the spinner ramp. Hit the ramp a few times to dig up an extra ball. The other way I am unsure of the exact method but it was similar in that you have to hit the Glyphs orbit a few times, and hit Clock and Key to activate "Go dig up some trasure" and then hit the pyramid ramp to collect your artifact. I know that I didn't hit the glyphs orbit 8 times and when I hit the pyramid ramp, the word DECRYPTION appeared in the LED display and I got the extra ball. You can get 2 extra balls for every regulation play ball for a total of 9 balls per game.
